Frequently asked questions
What is Luvia Pro and how is it billed?
Luvia Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store. The price, billing period, and any introductory offer are shown in the app and in the App Store before purchase.
Is my journal private? Where is my data stored?
Yes. Your journal entries, gratitude notes, mood logs, and breathing sessions are stored locally on your device. Luvia shows no ads, does not track you across other apps or websites, and never uses your private reflections for advertising.
Do I need an account to use Luvia?
Your private reflections — journal, gratitude, mood, and breathing — live on your device. Sign in with Apple is used for access to Kind Messages, the anonymous community feature, and to prevent abuse there.
Are Kind Messages really anonymous?
Yes. There are no names, public profiles, or social pressure. Messages are linked only to a pseudonymous identifier, and every message is checked for unsafe content before it reaches another person. Kind Messages is intended for adults 18 and older.
Who receives my Kind Message?
One unknown person, selected at random. When they reply, the exchange is complete: there are no threads or ongoing conversations, and you may never be matched with the same person again.
How do I report or block someone in Kind Messages?
Use the Report and Block actions inside the app. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and action can include removing content, restricting an account, or permanently ejecting a user.
How do I delete my data or my account?
You can delete your local data and your Kind Messages data from inside the app at any time. When you delete your account, the messages you wrote, your push tokens, and your stored email address are permanently erased from our servers.
How do I cancel my subscription or request a refund?
Luvia Pro is billed through the Apple App Store, so you can manage or cancel the subscription from your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policy.
Can I export my journal and notes?
Yes. You can export everything you have written whenever you want. Your reflections belong to you and you can take them with you at any time.
Which devices and languages does Luvia support?
